Lately there has been some controversy in the blogosphere concerning the color of cold pressed/expressed orange oils. Rather than voice opinions in these matters it is wiser to go to the experts on essential oils. According to Arctander there can be wide variations of colors, and these differences are not necessarily an indicator of quality. The colors range from “pale orange-yellow to dark orange” and even “brown orange” on occasion. The maturity of the fruit, the method of expression (hand versus mechanical) and even subspecies and region of harvest can all be factors in color. Arctander explained that Spanish oils could be very dark while other oils can be much lighter. The darker oils can be more desirable in flavor but are less desirable in perfumery because practically all cold pressed citrus contains residue of nonvolatile material. The conclusion based on Arctander is that the standard for orange oil color permits a rather wide variation.

With its name derived from Seminole, Simano is our first alcohol-free men’s fine fragrance designed for roll-on application. The lack of ethanol makes it softer and the complex carrier we use keeps these subtle woody notes around for a while. It contains real agarwood/OUD so it is nothing cheap or ordinary. Also making an appearance are patchouli, vetiver, amyris, cypress, spikenard, fir needle, frankincense, myrrh and a whole lot more. The inspiration for this product is a piece of Americana. This isn’t a perfume borrowed from the French, but something special from the Americas. We are proud to offer this to your team so your customers will have a special Father’s Day Offering.

Traditional Soaper’s concentrate is made of both natural and synthetic materials. It is DPG free. The aroma is clean and fresh and extremely powerful. Good in soaps as high as five and as low as 0.5 percent. The color is dark amber to light brown but should not signficantly impact the soap color. This formula is based on decades of research for soap companies. It also lends itself to good blending and formula design. If you want a patchouli soap use this concentrate with your existing patchouli soap. If you want a rosemary or lavender soap use traditional soap concentrate as a supplement. Use your creative flare to design with this product. This works well with Vanilla, Woody and Floral scents. Take this beautiful product in any direction. Try with ginger, bergamot, orange or clove.

Price alone is not an indicator of quality. Sometimes we will sell a product close to cost in order to sell other products. We have trained and well qualified purchasing staff who are able to make good deals with our sources. Other times we have forged contracts that help keep costs under control. Don’t let the price bullies convince you that if you pay less for your oil you must be getting inferior quality. We are determined to give you prices that permit you to sell your products to your clients at competitive prices. But that doesn’t mean we can always match price. Sometimes cost is an indicator of quality or scarcity of oil, but not always. If a company has prices far above every other company it isn’t because their quality is better. They may have good quality overall but price alone proves nothing. It proves nothing, but suggests they have the highest prices because they have the highest margins.
It is important to use logic in purchasing strategy.

This blend was developed in conjunction with a bee keeper to maximize those highly coveted natural constituents which frustrate the pests. Isolates from plant material and essential oils are combined in this base of decolorized Orange oil. The aroma is Vick’s vapor rub meets Orange Peel and it is high in Menthol, Thymol, and Camphor. We do not suggest Beekeeper use in place of normal hive maintenance, but instead as a supplement to existing procedures. Diluted at 15% in alcohol it makes a good disinfectant cleaner.
