On Price and Quality...

Price alone is not an indicator of quality. Sometimes we will sell a product close to cost in order to sell other products. We have trained and well qualified purchasing staff who are able to make good deals with our sources. Other times we have forged contracts that help keep costs under control. Don't let the price bullies convince you that if you pay less for your oil you must be getting inferior quality. We are determined to give you prices that permit you to sell your products to your clients at competitive prices. But that doesn't mean we can always match price. Sometimes cost is an indicator of quality or scarcity of oil, but not always. If a company has prices far above every other company it isn't because their quality is better. They may have good quality overall but price alone proves nothing. It proves nothing, but suggests they have the highest prices because they have the highest margins.
It is important to use logic in purchasing strategy.
